Native wood carving makes a comeback at Anchorage Museum | KTVA Anchorage CBS 11



Bryce was part of this residency last week. He really enjoyed the experience and was honored to be selected to attend by his professor at UAA. He is still working on his whistle, but I look forward to seeing the finished product. He is modeling his more after the painting the scream because of the shape of his wood.



He loves to carve and does an excellent job. I have several things he has carved at my house and love seeing his new pieces in progress.

I stumbled across the above blog today and was very happy to have done so.  I plan to visit more often. She has some delicious sounding recipes and her blog is very nicely set up. With my food allergies and my being a foodie I am always looking for new recipes and new ideas and she has both. Her chocolate hummus sounds yummy, and her review of Freedom Foods products was well done.

I am thinking Synergy is the perfect word for me this year.  Harmonious Synergy. Quilting is Synergy because the whole quilt is greater than all the little pieces used to put it together.
