Sweet Potato Chili

 

Ingredients:

1 -  15 oz can Tomato Sauce

2 or 3 - 15 oz cans diced, crushed, or petite tomatoes or use a can of tomatoes and green chilies in place of one can of tomatoes

1 - 4 oz can of green chilies

1 - 15 oz can Kidney Beans, rinsed and drained.

1 - 15 oz can Black Beans, rinsed and drained

1/2 to 1 - box 32 ounce vegetable broth

1 - onion finely chopped (you can choose to sauté them or not)

1 or more finely chopped jalapeños

2 chopped red peppers

4+ cloves garlic finely chopped

1 TBS sugar

1+ TBS Ancho Chili Powder or regular Chili Powder

2 medium sweet potatoes chopped into 1/2” pieces

1/2-1 tsp Cumin

1 TBS oregano

We like it spicy so I add more jalapeños or jalapeño powder and more chili powder. 

I usually throw chunks of onion, jalapeño, garlic, a can of green chilies and one can of tomatoes in my Ninja and blend it so it is like a thick baby food or chunky baby food and then dump it in the chili.

I also prefer to blend my tomatoes so they are more like crushed tomatoes if I do not have crushed tomatoes.

I dump it all in the pot, bring it to a boil, then turn the heat down and let it simmer for a few hours to thicken up and cook the sweet potatoes. OR I dump it all in the crockpot and let it cook all day or even over night.

You can also soak your beans and cook them first if you want to use dried beans the equivalent of 2 - 15 oz cans. I sometimes throw in into beans of just use two cans of. kidney beans.  If you like more beans you can throw in a third can.

Hubby likes it with cheese sprinkled in and his cornbread on the side. I like to crumble my cornbread into the chili.

ALTERNATIVE:

You can replace the sweet potatoes with a 15 oz can of pumpkin, NOT pumpkin pie filling.

I have also shredded carrots in to the chili as well. You can even shred a little bit of kale and throw it in or blend it in with the tomatoes to add more veggies, just be careful as too much can make the chili bitter.

Stuffed Peppers

Stuffed Peppers

1-2 Red onions chopped 

Chopped colored peppers the tops cut off the tops of the peppers you are going to stuff and one more pepper if you like more pepper like I do.

1/2-3/4 cup cooked quinoa 

1 TBS Chili powder 

Jalapeño finely chopped 

1-2 tsp Garlic powder

1 -2 TBS Sariacha (more or less depending on how spicy you like it.)

One can  black beans

Six to  eight peppers  tops cutoff  and cleaned out

In a sauce pan sauté the onions and peppers until the onions are well done and starting to brown.  About half way through the saluting add the jalapeños. Add the chili powder, and garlic powder, and 1/2 to 3/4 cup water and sariacha sauce along with the cooked quinoa and let simmer, stirring frequently until the liquid is gone.

Remove from heat and stuff the peppers you have prepared.

Bake in a 350° oven for 15-20 minutes, until the tops are starting to brown and serve. Makes 3 to 6 servings. We usually eat two peppers each, depending on the size of the peppers.

Darkness is Settling on the Earth

 We are entering a time of darkness that in some ways makes me think of the Dark Ages to the Medieval times. Our government in dark and not of the people, for the people, and by the people. It is instead of the darkness, for the darkness, and by the darkness if all I have heard is true. 

Our Constitution is in danger, as are our rights and those things guaranteed by the Holy Father.  Religion is under attack, as is the church and the Bible. 

Censorship rules and those who choose to speak out are silenced or banned.

It is a sad time for Americans and America and the world.

Crimes against humanity reign over common decency and morality. Immoral behavior is glorified and sanctified. Acts that go against the Ten Commandments of God be lifted seen as good, when in reality they are sins that are evil. People are worshiping idols and false gods, instead of our one true God, the Creator of heaven and Earth.

I weep for our nation and the world. I pray that God will have mercy on our land and on our people, and that he will open the hearts of those who have wandered into the darkness and let them see the light.

I pray for our outgoing president who has done so much good for our country and our people and helped negotiate peace in the Middle East. 

I pray for our incoming president that the darkness be lifted off of his heart and that he see the true God and the right way to help our country instead of continuing to wander in the darkness under the influence of darkness. 

Lord God Our Father, I thank you for this day, and for life. I ask you to please watch over our country and its people during this time of descent into darkness. Please protect us all from the evil that approaches and keep us safe in your arms. Protect us from the plague that has attacked our land and the world and from those who are out to destroy us. Please watch over our military and our police officers and bless our president and guide our incoming president to do the right things for our country and all of its citizens. In Jesus Name, Amen..

A House Divided

 Luke 11 verse 17 “Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. “”

The fraudulent election has caused this country to be more divided than ever before and it will only get worse unless this is stopped. Please God send us a miracle and stop this fraudulent election before our country is destroyed. We need to save our country and our constitution, both of which are under attack.  

I am not a republican, so you cannot say that I am too far right. I am an independent and I look at what is best for America and her citizens, not what this side or that side thinks is best. What I see is a country that is spiraling downward because of hate that is fostered by the liberals who push their narrative through the liberal media that they have bought and paid for. I see anger that our rights are being infringed upon coming from the right who feel they are being suppressed and having their right to free speech taken away by the same liberal media who only tells one side of the story. I see liberals who are pushing to destroy the constitution and take away rights that have been guaranteed by it for over 200 years, with their lies. 

I have studied history and can attest to the fact that the demoncraps have done terrible things to minorities over the years and fought to suppress them as slave, with Jim Crow laws, and the KKK. I have studied history and know that the republicans are the reason the Civil Rights Act passed. “18 southern Democratic Senators and one Republican senator... launched a filibuster to prevent its passage, Said Russell: “We will resist to the bitter end any measure or any movement which would have a tendency to bring about social equality and intermingling and amalgamation of the races in our (Southern) states.” Strong opposing to the bill also came from Senator Storm Thurmond (D-SC): “This so called Civil Rights Proposals, which the President has sent to Capital Hill for enactment into law, are unconstitutional, unnecessary, unwise, and extend beyond the realm of reason. This is the worst civil-rights package ever presented to the Congress and is reminiscent of the Reconstruction proposals and actions of the radical Republican Congress.” (Wikipedia)  Yet they left call the right racist, I think they have that backwards.

Today I read that 46 of the 58 counties of California want to form their own state to escape the insanity of the governor of the state.  I also read that Texas wants to secede from the union and I can totally understand their reasoning. 

This entire plandemic has been about control and the loss of rights that are guaranteed by our constitution, which they want destroyed. They will be mandating vaccines that are dangerous in my opinion because they are not fully tested and we do not know the long term effects of them, next. 

We cannot stand by and let this happen. It is time for Americans to stand up for our rights and for our freedoms. We need to stand up for our police who are there to protect us and not suppress their ability to do their jobs like the demoncrap liberals in congress, ANtifa, and BLM are demanding. 

Their so called mostly peaceful protests were RIOTS, and they should be in jail for the destruction they caused. The money raised by the BLM should be confiscated and distributed to those who lost their businesses because of the destruction they caused. 

The only way to stop this is to demand a new election with photo ID and in person voting. The mail in voting was a fraud. I can testify to this because my absentee ballot, that I requested with my signature witnessed,  was never received or maybe I should say never recorded. It was mailed at the same time and place as my husbands and hand stamped. Three weeks after the fact it was still not received, so I went and voted in person after confirming that as of 4:00 on Election Day it was still not received. 

We must stand together and stop the swearing in of the frauds who were not elected legally and morally. 

We stood by and suffered 8 years of destruction of the country under Ovomit and now we will see four more years of destruction under Bi-dumb. American can not stand up to this continual terroristic attacks by those who are out to destroy out country.

Those who drank the KoolAid are going to be surprised when they see this country fall under the demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist. 

The demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist only want to rob and steal money from hardworking Americans. They will raise our taxes to the point we will all be in the poor house and it will happen slowly and slyly because they are evil. Look are the past records of unprecedented spending by the government and you will see that it skyrockets under the demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist on wasteful things that will not help us as citizens of this once great country. 

Yes, I voted for President Trump in this election, but not in the last election. I did not vote for him because I like him. Personally he is very rough, pompous, definitely not politically correct, and not the kind of person I would choose as a friend. I voted for him because of all he has done for this country and the citizens of America. He worked hard for this country and its citizens and for other countries like Israel.  He increased our country’s economic status, and lowered unemployment for all Americas. He helped to broker four peace treaties for Israel. He helped out black colleges, brought jobs back to America and increased our manufacturing. He donated his salary to help out veterans, as well as doing other things to help our veterans whom we need to support before we even think about supporting illegals. President Trump so too many things to help and support our country for me to list, much more than any president in the last 30 years, in my opinion. He did this all while fighting the demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist and their lies and false attacks on him.

Our veterans signed their lives away on the dotted line and they need to be taken care of first and foremost. I personally think that congress should be paid the same as an E3 and housed in barracks with chow hall food since they don’t really do anything for us except cost us more money and give themselves raises. They should also have the same insurance plan as the military. 

Open you eyes people congress is getting rich off your hard earned money and robbing you of your benefits of working because they over tax us. Taxes should be 10% or 15% across the board with no loopholes of deductions. You make a dime you pay a penny, you make a dollar you pay a dime, etc... It does not matter if you are on welfare or working as a CEO you pay the same percent and you do not get anything back. Fairest way to make sure every one pays equally based on their salary.  The same can be applied to businesses and it would be a lot simpler to file your taxes.

Welfare and food stamps need to be revised also. Welfare should send a check to your landlord and then pay you the rest, that would make sure you had a roof over your head. There should be a limit of two kids and if you have more then you I figure it out. There are people on welfare who keep having kids because then get more money, not cool. Food stamps should be computerized for certain food items, healthy food like fruits, veggies, hamburger, not be used to buy junk food like soda and chips. There should be a set number of each item per month and you can pick it up at a specific location each week. Then we would not need to worry about kids whose parents are not feeding them because they are selling their food stamps for alcohol and drugs. Also to get welfare and food stamps people should have to have monthly drug tests for all members of a household over the age of 12 or 16 and there should be a work component or education component tied into it. This would solve a ton of problems and get more people off the government dole. Welfare was not set up to support people for generations, it was set up to help people for a short period of time so there should be a life time limit of one year for welfare. There can be a longer time for food stamps but if we set a limit and help people get the skills they need for a job that will help get them off welfare and make them productive members of society. I mean they can be trained to fix an engine or to work in an office. There are a multitude of jobs out there they could be trained for so they can get off welfare. 

Bi-dumb and his sidekick Harassment want to take away our gun rights, and our freedom of speech and suppress our ability to express our own opinions. They are the Hitlers of today.  If you truly listen to what the demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist governors and leaders say when they speak you will see that they are the Nazi’s of today. Their goal is to wipe out Christians and destroy the constitution and this country. They are in league with the devil and those who are pushing for a one world global economy and a cashless society. They want us all to have the mark of the beast to be able to shop or travel. 

I pray I am wrong, but with the huge divide in this country that was started by Ovomit and that has been pushed by the demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist  I see a civil war coming and it will not be a good one. We need to do something to fix this country and we need to do it now or we will not have a country as the demoncrap liberal far left socialistic communist will either turn us into another Venezuela or a war will destroy us. We cannot allow our country to fall to the socialistic communist that are trying to take over.

Thinking about the destruction that the demoncrats have pushed on our country

 This has been an interesting year to say the least. I has been surreal and I am sure if 2021 will be any better with pedophile Joe as president. I pray that God is working to save our country from the destruction that the democrats have planned for us. 

President Trump did so much good for this country with all his work to break us free of the horrid things left in Ovomit’s wake and the ties to China. His goal of putting America first was a good one and we have escaped from many things that were suppressing our people and tying us to the global one world government hell that Ovomit tried to bury us under. 

President Trump did many things that no other president has done. He brought peace treaties to Israel between them and middle eastern countries that have hated the Jewish people for centuries not once but at least four times. 

President Trump stabilized our economy and out our country financially and our unemployment was lower that it has been in years. Covid, which was due to the Chinese and the democrats conspiring to destroy America put a few bumps in the road, but we are still better off than we were under Ovomit.  Ovomit and Fauci funded the research that paid for the coronavirus, though others may disagree, my research shows it is true.

I pray our country can survive the next four years under demonic rule. May God have mercy on our country and protect us from Satan.  

Americans need to wake up and come home to Jesus, he will protect us and guide us.  Jesus is our savior.

Spiced Tuscan White Bean Soup

 

2 cans cannelloni beans

3 carrots, diced

1 stick of celery, diced

1 TBS olive oil

1 yellow onion, diced

4 cloves garlic minced

2 - 3 medium potatoes cut into 1/2” cubes. 

4 large leaders of kale remove stem and chop or tear up. (Optional)

2 boxes vegetable broth (you can use chicken broth if you prefer)

2+ tsps Italian Seasoning

2+ tsps  Rosemary

1 tsp basil

1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes, more if you like it spicier or sriracha 

Ground Black Pepper to taste

Drain and rinse beans.  Sauté half the carrots, the celery and onions in a TBS olive oil.  Add the beans and one box of broth.  Cook 15 minutes.

Reserve 3/4 c of beans mixture. Put the rest of the bean mixture in the blender and purée along with the garlic, Italian Seasoning, Rosemary, and Red Pepper Flakes. Return the bean purée to the pan, add the reserved beans, carrots, potato, and kale if using. Season with pepper and eat simmer until vegetables are tender. 

Puréeing the beans makes the soup thicker.  We like it spicier so I add more red pepper.  The soup is good with bread or garlic bread.
